RFID Antenna
Suitable for:
Municipal and industrial waste management companies, household and organic waste, recyclables and commercial waste, retrofitting of existing collection vehicles.
KWS RFID antennas read the unique transponder IDs of the waste containers directly from the lifter or tipper. Depending on the lifter design and container marking, tooth antennas, body antennas, and rear comb antennas are available.

Tooth antenna
The tooth antenna typically replaces the right-hand tooth of the comb rail and, when the container is picked up, positions itself directly beneath the transponder built into the chip nest. This ensures an optimal reading position; many lift manufacturers already offer compatible comb rails with mounting bases for this purpose.

Model: HDX, FDX.
-
Containers: 2- and 4-wheel plastic containers with Chipnest.
-
Reading range: approx. 10 cm.
Body antennas
The body antenna is used when the RFID transponders are mounted on the vertical front face of the container—that is, on the "body." It is suitable for both standard plastic containers and, upon request, for metal containers.
-
Model: HDX, FDX.
-
Containers: 2- and 4-wheel plastic containers; metal containers available upon request.
-
Reading range: approx. 10 cm.
Back-slot antenna
The rear comb antenna is ideal for retrofitting existing vehicles or when space is limited around the lift. It enables reliable transponder detection in the area of the lift comb without requiring major modifications to the existing mechanism.
