Herbert Krickl has been involved in vehicle-mounted weighing since 1991. In 2001, he founded Krickl Waagen Systeme—KWS for short—which became a limited liability company (GmbH) in 2004, achieving milestones such as ISO 9001 certification, EU approvals, dynamic scales, and RFID systems for waste management, logistics, and energy.
Today, KWS systems meet the highest standards (NMI CE-117, BEV certifications), complemented by the MOBA partnership since 2025 to create digital synergies. Modern cloud-based and remote control solutions ensure precise, efficient weighing directly on-site – KWS has been a reliable partner for waste management and logistics for over 20 years.

KWS develops and manufactures vehicle-mounted scales for use in the food, fuel, hazardous materials, waste management, and recycling logistics sectors. Our weighing systems, which are permanently installed on trucks, enable precise, calibratable weight measurements directly on-site and provide transparent, legally compliant documentation during loading and unloading.
